Tax calculation and exemptions.
Tax may be calculated based on billing information, configured tax provider or reviewed manual rules, product or service category, and approved exemption documentation.
Clinics and organizations are responsible for supplying accurate exemption certificates, reseller permit information, billing addresses, and documentation updates.
Reseller permits may apply only to eligible resale/CVI charges and may not exempt subscriptions unless a separate approved exemption applies.
eCVI-Express tax settings and tax-related content are provided for operational convenience and are not tax advice; consult a qualified accounting or tax professional for your circumstances.
Use of electronic signatures.
Pet movement and APHIS 7001 reference profiles.
State and territorial animal movement requirements can change. eCVI-Express provides requirement profiles based on official sources and Administrator review, but clinics and veterinarians remain responsible for confirming current requirements with the destination state when needed.
Destination or receiving state requirements control interstate pet movement rules.
APHIS 7001 is not a universal valid CVI. It may be available as a small-animal reference/fallback candidate only when the reviewed destination-state requirement profile allows it.
APHIS dropdown and state-to-state pages are discovery/index sources, while official state animal health websites, state regulations, and documented state animal health office guidance are preferred for detailed and current requirements.
AI Assist Features.
AI Assist is optional.
AI Assist may be inaccurate or incomplete.
AI-generated values must be reviewed.
The veterinarian remains responsible for issued certificates.
AI Assist does not replace professional judgment.
AI Assist does not certify animal health.
AI Assist does not determine regulatory compliance.

Users are responsible for reviewing extracted lab, vaccine, ID, and equine marking information.
eCVI-Express may use third-party AI providers such as OpenAI to process user-submitted prompts, audio, images, documents, license uploads, and equine walk-around still frames for AI Assist features.
Full equine walk-around video is not retained by default. Candidate still frames may be temporarily processed, and unapproved or rejected frames are deleted according to retention rules.
Uploaded professional license and USDA accreditation documents may be processed by AI providers for Administrator review.
License memory uses Administrator-reviewed document patterns and fingerprints to improve future comparisons.
AI confidence reflects document extraction and comparison only and does not guarantee document authenticity or license validity.
AI does not externally verify license status unless an authorized external source is integrated and checked.
Administrator review remains responsible unless an explicit automated approval policy is enabled and documented in internal policy.
External state board or USDA verification is separate from AI document extraction.
Do not submit information through AI Assist unless authorized.

AI Assist Fair Use.
AI Assist access is provided subject to reasonable and fair use. eCVI-Express may monitor AI usage to maintain system performance, manage service costs, and prevent abuse. If a clinic’s AI usage is materially higher than typical clinic usage, eCVI-Express may temporarily limit AI features, request an upgrade to a higher-usage plan, or offer an additional AI usage premium. CVI drafting, signing, issuing, and non-AI workflows will remain available according to the clinic’s active plan and account status.
